节间生长 internodial growth 居间生长的一种。特指茎的节与节之间的生长而言。在由顶尖分生组织刚形成的节与节之间，具有节间分生组织，这些分生组织的所有细胞进行旺盛地分裂使节间生长，随着节间的伸长，节间的细胞从上部开始依次丧失分裂能力，只有上部细胞变长。在节间充分生成后，节间下部节附近的细胞分裂能力很小，进一步老化，就完全丧失了分裂能力，于是节间生长也就停止下来。
