是胸前壁内面的一对动脉干。起于锁骨下动脉的下壁，向下入胸腔，距胸骨外缘约1cmm处贴胸壁内面垂直下降；穿膈肌胸肋角续为腹壁上动脉，在腹直肌后鞘与腹直肌间下降，至脐附近与腹壁下动脉相吻合。此外，还发出肌膈动脉、心包膈动脉等。胸廓内动脉布于肋间肌前部、膈肌、腹直肌、乳房、心包及部分胸、腹膜。
正 胸廓内动脉(Internal thoracic artery,ITA)是重要的冠状动脉移植物。10年通畅率可达90％,应用ITA行冠状动脉搭桥术可显著改善长期疗效。
