股外侧皮神经炎又称感觉异常性股痛、Bernhardt病、Roth病，是临床最常见的皮神经炎，为一种股外侧皮肤感觉异常的疾病。股外侧皮神经系纯感觉神经，发自腰丛，由L2、L3神经根前支组成，自腰大肌外缘伸出后，在腹股沟韧带下方的3～5厘米处进入皮下组织，分布于股外侧皮肤。部分正常人股外侧皮神经发自生殖股神经或股神经。在该神经行程中，如果由于受压、外伤等某种原因影响到股外侧皮神经时，即可能发生股外侧皮神经炎。
股外侧皮神经炎（lateral femoral cutaneous neuritis）:大腿前外大腿交外侧下2/3区出现针刺、烧灼性疼痛或麻木，局部感觉过敏或感觉减退、缺失。久站或走路后症状加剧。
