因外伤或医源性损伤引发的股动脉挫伤、破裂或断裂，可继发股动脉血栓形成，较小的股动脉刺伤可引起假性动脉瘤形成。根据外伤史、骨折类型及特点、临床表现及足背动脉搏动减弱或消失一般不难作出诊断，个别诊断困难者可选择性地采用CTA或动脉造影。
