美国铝业公司，是美国最大的制铝公司。1888年建于匹兹堡，1907年采用美国铝业公司之名。1910年开发出铝箔新产品，并将铝应用到新兴的航空和汽车工业。1913年在田纳西州东部建立阿尔考镇，把它规划为工业区。1945年因违反联邦反托拉斯法，不得不卖掉加拿大子公司（现为加拿大铝业公司，是其最大的竞争对手）。1998年并购阿鲁玛克斯（Alumax）公司，合并的公司拥有十万名员工，每年生产近四百万吨的铝。
美国铝业公司(Aluminum Company of America,Alcoa)一度曾拥有像现在的苹果电脑公司一样的崇高声誉,因为当时铝业属于快速增长行业。
