糯扎渡电站位于澜沧江下游普洱市思茅区和澜沧县交界处,是澜沧江下游水电核心工程,也是实施云电外送的主要电源点。电站枢纽为心墙堆石坝、左岸溢洪道、左岸引水发电系统等组成。糯扎渡水库正常蓄水位812米,心墙堆石坝最大坝高261.5米,居同类坝型世界第三。电站总投资约611亿元,年利用小时数4088小时,年均发电量239.12亿千瓦时。作为云南省最大水电站,是实现国家资源优化配置,全国联网目标的骨干工程,是实施“西电东送” 及“云电外送”战略的基础项目。
