管道完整性管理( Pipeline Integrity Management)定义为：管道公司面对不断变化的因素，对油气管道运行中面临的风险因素进行识别和评价，通过监测、检测、检验等各种方式，获取与专业管理相结合的管道完整性的信息，制定相应的风险控制对策，不断改善识别到的不利影响因素，从而将管道运行的风险水平控制在合理的、可接受的范围内，最终达到持续改进、减少和预防管道事故发生、经济合理地保证管道安全运行的目的。
