热通量，又称为热流，是指单位时间通过某一面积的热能，是具有方向性的矢量，其在国际单位制中的单位为焦耳/秒（J/s，即瓦特）。由此又可以进一步定义热通量密度或热流密度，即通过单位面积的热通量，其在国际单位制的单位为瓦特/平方米。
