泰国芒果又称象牙芒果,果实圆长肥大,一个重1斤左右,因果型如幼年象牙而得名。果实成熟时呈金黄色,可食用部分占72%,皮薄核小,果肉肥厚、鲜嫩、多汁,味美可口,香甜如蜜。含有多种维生素,被视为果类珍品。景谷县年产芒果100万多市斤,已生产有“树塔牌”芒果汁、“大有为”芒果汁,畅销国内几十个省市、远销香港等地,深受欢迎。
谢天谢地,在泰国我每天随时都可以吃到芒果了,10泰铢(约合30美分)就可以吃到新鲜的刨切好的芒果了。
