正月初五，俗称破五节，是历史悠久的中国传统节日之一。因中国民俗认为之前诸多禁忌过此日皆可破而得名。由于这一天承担了太多人们的希望与憧憬，所以古代这一天的禁忌就特别多，比如在这一天必须吃饺子、不能用生米做饭、不准妇女串门等。《燕京岁时记》中说：初五日谓之‘破五’，‘破五’之内不得以生米为炊，妇女不得出门。至初六日，则王妃贵主以及宦官等冠帔往来，互相道贺。新婚女子亦于当日归宁，而诸商亦渐次开张贸易矣。《清裨类钞》也载：“正月初五日为破五，妇女不得出门。
