梭杆菌属 （Fusobacterium， Knorr 1922）是梭杆菌科的1属。是临床常见的革兰阴性无芽胞厌氧杆菌。因因其形态细长，两端尖细如梭，故得名。
这两属都是杆状菌。一属(芽孢杆菌属)是需氧的，另一属(梭状芽孢杆菌属)是厌氧的。
Both genera are rod forms, one (Bacillus) is aerobic and the other (Clostridium) is anaerobic.
同样，可以通过梭状芽胞杆菌属的细菌来将混合煤气转化为乙醇，这类细菌中最出名的便是肉毒杆菌。
