景观破碎化（landscape fragmentation）是指由于自然或人文因素的干扰所导致的景观由简单趋向于复杂的过程，即景观由单一、均质和连续的整体趋向于复杂、异质和不连续的斑块镶嵌体。实质上包括了穿孔、分割、破碎化、缩小、消失五种景观变化的空间过程。
