新型隐球菌脑膜炎(cryptococcosis) 是中枢神经系统最常见的真菌感染，由新型隐球菌感染引起，临床主要表现为发热、头痛、呕吐等亚急性或慢性脑膜炎、脑膜脑炎的症状，少数患者可表现为颅内占位性病变的临床表现。其病情重，疗程长，预后差，病死率高。随着两性霉B、氟胞嘧啶等药物的问世， 隐脑的治愈率达到60 % ~ 70%, 药物联合应用也缩短了治疗疗程。本病发病率虽低，但临床表现与结核性脑膜炎颇相似，故临床常易误诊。
