战争法，是指调整交战各方之间、交战各方与中立国及其他非交战国之间的关系，规范交战行为以及保护平民、伤病员与战俘和有关战争责任的原则、规则和制度的总称。战争法的内容涉及战争的开始与结束; 交战各方之间、交战各方与中立国及其他非交战国之间的关系; 对作战手段和方法的限制; 对平民、伤病员与战俘的保护以及对战争罪犯的惩治等方面。 在除内战以外的情况下，战争法也被视为国际公法（万国法）的一部分。分类 战争法可分为两大类： 战时法，关于战争中可接受行为的法律。诉诸战争权，关于使用武力的可接受理由的法律。
