《急危重症护理》以护理人员的工作岗位（服务场所）为依据，以案例为载体，以急危重症患者的救治程序为逻辑来组织教学内容。除课程描述外，共有3个教学项目，11个学习任务，分别为院前急救（心跳呼吸骤停患者的现场急救、创伤患者的现场急救、气道梗阻患者的现场急救和常见意外伤害的现场急救）、院内急诊科的救护（心跳呼吸骤停患者的急诊救护、创伤患者的急诊救护、中毒患者的急诊救护、常见危重患者的急诊救护）、ICU患者的监护（复苏后患者的ICU监护、严重创伤患者的ICU监护、大手术后患者的ICU监护）。
方法在征求学生意见的基础上，将心电图、实验诊断与急救护理学课程整合为《急危重症监护学》一门课程。
Methods According to the feedback of nursing students, the authors decided to integrate electrocardiogram (ECG) and laboratory diagnosis into "emergency nursing" as one curriculum.
