待用咖啡，英文是suspended coffee，指人们在咖啡馆消费时额外购买的咖啡，留待其他可能比较贫困的人士享用。这个传统起源于意大利那不勒斯的咖啡馆，并从二战开始慢慢流行起来。国内由陈里发起了类似待用咖啡的待用快餐公益活动，全国已有20多个城市的200多家餐厅加入。
后来的囊中羞涩的顾客可以问问是否有“待用咖啡”，如果有就可以不用付钱也能喝上一杯热热的咖啡。
