天鹅属（Cygnus）是脊索动物门、脊椎动物亚门、鸟纲、雁形目、鸭科的1属。天鹅是一种冬候鸟，喜欢群栖在湖泊和沼泽地带，主要以水生植物为食。每年三四月间，它们大群地从南方飞向北方，在中国北部边疆省份产卵繁殖。雌天鹅都是在每年的五月间产下二三枚卵，然后雌鹅孵卵，雄鹅守卫在身旁，一刻也不离开。一过十月份，它们就会结队南迁。在南方气候较温暖的地方越冬，养息。
天鹅：鸭科的各种大型水禽，主要是天鹅和哑天鹅属，有蹼足、长而细的脖子和通常为白色的羽毛。
