农业合作经济组织，又称农业合作社，是指农民，尤其是以家庭经营为主的农业小生产者为了维护和改善各自的生产及生活条件，在自愿互助和平等互利的基础上，遵守合作社的法律和规章制度，联合从事特定经济活动所组成的企业组织形式。农业合作经济组织的盈利以成员与农业合作经济组织的交易额分配为主。
