兼性厌氧细菌（facultative anaerobic bacteria），又称兼嫌气性微生物，兼嫌气菌、兼性好氧菌。既可以在有氧条件下进行新陈代谢，又可以在无氧状态下进行新陈代谢。但在这两种状况下，体内的生化反应是不同的，也就是说产能途径不同。
