公主头源自于西欧童话故事中公主的形象，因而得名。公主头基本上是中长发的发型，前方额前剪出刘海，部分头发向后收束或绑辫，其余部分自然放下。
将前额至公主头的中间部分向下梳，把这部分头发别到第一步中别过发卡的位置。
