先天性肌性斜颈俗称“歪脖”。先天性肌性斜颈由胸锁乳突肌内的纤维瘤病所致，在出生时可扪及肿块，或在生后的前两周内扪及肿块。右侧较左侧常见，病变可以累及全部肌肉，但更多的病变只累及胸锁乳突肌的近锁骨附着点。肿块在生后1～2个月内最大，以后其体积维持不变或略有缩小，通常在1年时间内变小或消失。如果肿块不消失，肌肉将发生永久性纤维化并挛缩，如不治疗将导致永久性斜颈。
