供水保证率（probability of water supply）是指预期供水量在多年供水中能够得到充分满足的年数出现的概率。由于供水工程的水源不同和用水户不同，并受经济、社会、环境的影响，供水保证率的计算比较复杂。以地表水为水源的供水工程主要采用典型年法或时历年法计算。
水量、用水方便程度、供水保证率对其有一定的影响，但作用比较小。
