井点降水，是人工降低地下水位的一种方法。故又称“井点降水法”。在基坑开挖前，在基坑四周埋设一定数量的滤水管（井），利用抽水设备抽水使所挖的土始终保持干燥状态的方法。所采用的井点类型有：轻型井点、喷射井点、电渗井点、管井井点、深井井点等。
