主体间性即人对他人意图的推测与判定。主体间性有不同的级别，一级主体间性即人对另一个人意图的判断与推测。二级主体间性即人对另一人关于其他人意图的判断与推测的认知的认识。例如，A知道B知道C想要在中午与A一起去吃饭，那么A便是进行了二级主体间性的判断。通常人们最多能进行五级主体间性的判断，五次以上就容易做出错误的判断。
