中国月球探测工程是指2003年3月由中国国家航天局宣布正式起动的月球探测计划。该计划的第一期工程命名为“嫦娥一号”工程，即研制和发射第一颗月球探测卫星，该工程有探月卫星、运载火箭、发射场、测控和地面应用五大系统组成。
