镜报集团报业公司从1984年起属于马克斯韦尔所有，是两家电视台主要股东。 主要出版《每日镜报》、《星期日镜报》，以及十几家地方报刊；1991年11月马克斯韦尔落水身亡。后公司因资不抵债于1992年被戴维梅耶（Dawid Montgom Meiy）买下，他称这是英国惟一不属于任何公司的独立公司。但不久默多克也拥有了该报团的部分股份。 1999年镜报集团与拥有110多份地区性报纸的三合一集团合并，改名为三一镜报集团，成为英国最大的报纸出版商。
该报现隶属三一镜报集团，2009年改为周刊，发行量逾万份。
