目前，人们对企业信息化内涵的理解有待商榷。什么“计算机化就是企业信息化”、什么“电子商务就是企业信息化”、什么“企业办公自动化就是企业信息化”、什么“网络化就是企业信息化”、什么“企业资源计划（ERP）就是企业信息化”、什么“进销存信息化就是企业信息化”等等，不胜枚举，但是，只要深入品味，就感觉片面性太强，实质是对信息化内涵认识不够的必然结果。
