构造形迹和构造体系按规模大小而划分的级别。又称构造级别。如分为一级构造、二级构造、三级构造等，或分为巨型、大型、中型和小型构造等。一般在一个地区占有主导地位的构造体系或某一构造体系中占主导地位的构造形迹，列为一级构造，规模较小的列为二级构造，依此类推。
