刚性防水屋面是采用混凝土浇捣而成的屋面防水层。在混凝土中掺入膨胀剂、减水剂、防水剂等外加剂，使浇筑后的混凝土细致密实，水分子难以通过，从而达到防水的目的。刚性防水屋面的优点是价格便宜，耐久性好，维修方便，缺点是密度大，抗拉强度低，拉应变小。
