  The MRI showed necrosis and degeneration of glodus pallidus and cerebral white matter demyelination mainly around the ventricles,with high signal intensity in T2-weighted and equal or low signal intensity in T1-weighted as well as the lesions in hippocampus and brain stem. There was the sign of encephalatrophy in the late stage.

  CT的典型表现为双侧大脑白质、两侧或单侧基底节或苍白球低密度改变;MRI异常表现为苍白球变性坏死,双侧大脑白质脱髓鞘,以脑室周围为主,T2加权呈高信号,T1加权呈等信号或低信号,海马区及脑干的病变,后期出现脑萎缩征象。
