The social network, freshly moved in to the former Sun Microsystems campus near the DumbartonBridge on the edge of San Francisco Bay, has begun making plans to add a second campus on the inland side of Bayfront Expressway.
It starts as an exit off the DumbartonBridge, which cuts across the southern edge of San Francisco Bay, runs though rough-and-tumble East Palo Alto, then tree-lined stretches dotted with multimillion-dollar mansions, and eventually hits, as the name implies, the Stanford campus.
If ATC is busy and clearance cannot be obtained to fly through the Class Bravo airspace, it is still possible to fly the Bay Tour: execute a left Dumbarton departure heading toward Half Moon Bay, follow the coastline all the way to the Golden Gate Bridge, then east to the Bay Bridge and retrace your path back to PAO staying under Class Bravo airspace throughout.
