The Commander of the U.S. Southern Command, Air Force General Douglas Fraser, says the military is gradually increasing its capacity to deliver assistance to the millions of people affected by the earthquake.

Gen DouglasFraser, head of US Southern Command, insisted US forces were "doing everything in our power to speed aid to Haiti as fast as humanly possible".
DouglasFraser, said he is "disappointed by the entire incident and that this behavior is not in keeping with the professional standards expected of members of the United States military, " according to the statement.
