Falling prices for everything from the DRAM memory used to make PCs run faster to the NAND flash memory powering digitalmedia players--have sent Micron's shares down 59% over the past year and about 74% over the past two years.
SanDisk's diverse product portfolio includes flash memory cards and embedded solutions used in smart phones, tablets, digital cameras, camcorders, digitalmedia players and other consumer electronic devices, as well as USB flash drives and solid-state drives (SSD) for the computing market.
