Aaron and his sons must wear them whenever they enter the Tent of Meeting or approach the altar to minister in the Holy Place, so that they will not incur guilt and die.
亚伦和他儿子进入会幕，或就近坛，在圣所供职的时候必穿上，免得担罪而死。
But thus do unto them, that they may live, and not die, when they approach unto the most holy things: Aaron and his sons shall go in, and appoint them every one to his service and to his burden.
他们挨近至圣物的时候，亚伦和他儿子要进去派他们各人所当办的，所当抬的。这样待他们，好使他们活着，不致死亡。
Whenever they enter the Tent of Meeting, they shall wash with water so that they will not die. Also, when they approach the altar to minister by presenting an offering made to the Lord by fire.
他们进会幕，或是就近坛前供职给耶和华献火祭的时候，必用水洗濯，免得死亡。
