Former U.S. Attorney General DickThornburgh, one of the experts assembled by the family's lawyer to review Freeh's report last year to Penn State, said the document was fundamentally flawed and incomplete.
He has written Attorney General DickThornburgh stating "I believe it is a crime to knowingly supply false information to Congress" and asking that an investigation be opened to consider the possibility of malfeasance.
Just what those errors are is a bit unclear, though former U.S. Attorney General DickThornburgh took particular offense in his portion of the report claims by Freeh that Paterno did not have empathy for the safety of children.
