Lin-san, as Jiufeng Central Daechi, like the Lotus name because of the mountains and the red deer appeared in groups, commonly known as "Red Deer Mountain."
The resort has four costumed mascots (Quincy the bear, Bucky the deer, Ruby the racoon and Silver the eagle) who make regular ski school appearances and also travel around the mountain.
