Eighty four elite dahlia cultivars of 4 flower type populations were used as the materials to analyze the genetic diversity of 7 phenotype traits. The results indicated that for the different flower type populations,there were significant differences in the stem diameter,leaf length,leaf width,flower diameter and pedicel length,but there were no significant differences in the plant height and petiole length.
