abstract:Cumnock and Doon Valley (Cumnag agus Srath Dhùin in Scottish Gaelic) was one of nineteen local government districts in the Strathclyde region of Scotland from 1973 to 1996.
The issue was raised at First Minister's Question by SNP MSP Adam Ingram, who said hundreds of jobs and the wellbeing of communities in CumnockandDoonValley were dependent on SRG.
