abstract:Crianlarich (; ) is a village in Stirling council area and the registration county of Perthshire, Scotland, about six miles north-east of the head of Loch Lomond. The village's name derives from the Gaelic for "low pass", relating to its geographical location.
The Inverness to Aberdeen line was badly affected, Perth to Inverness services were cancelled until midday and the West Highland line was closed between Crianlarich Forth William.
