"There's a heightened awareness to this kind of violence in light of what happened in Connecticut, " said Maggie Brooks, leader of the local administration in MonroeCounty, the area which includes Webster.
"Whoever negotiated these cuts has never struggled with the pain of watching a child with disabilities, " said Assemblyman Bill Nojay, a MonroeCounty Republican.
