abstract:Corralejo () is a town and resort located on the northern tip of Fuerteventura, one of the Canary Islands, facing the small islet of Lobos (Islote de Lobos). It is placed in the municipality of La Oliva.
In Corralejo, a wind farm is associated to a water desalination plant, while the University of La Laguna is developing a biofuel production project using jatropha curas seeds.
