abstract:Coore (also known as Coor) (Irish: Cubhar. Meaning: angle of land) is a village in the parish of Kilmurry Ibrickane, near Mullagh and Milltown Malbay, in County Clare, Ireland.
Coore and Crenshaw also designed the other U.S. course scheduled to open next year, this one at Bandon Dunes, the hard-to-get-to golf mecca on the southern coast of Oregon.
As architects it hired the team of Bill Coore and Ben Crenshaw (Sand Hills, Friar's Head) to build one of the courses and Tom Doak (Pacific Dunes, Ballyneal) to build the other.
