abstract:The term Consumer revolution refers to the period from the late sixteenth century to the nineteenth century in which there was a marked increase in consumption of various goods and products by individuals from different economic and social backgrounds. The consumer revolution allowed a diverse group of individuals to purchase similar items, that previously may have only been available to those of middle to upper classes.
