The state Commission of Correction has issued critical reports about nine inmate deaths between 2009 and 2011 at county jails that contract with Correctional Medical Care Inc.
When the Commission believes a member state has failed to account properly for EU funds it can impose a "correction" on that state - it is a demand to reimburse the Commission.
