These are the commandments the LORD proclaimed in a loud voice to your whole assembly there on the mountain from out of the fire, the cloud and the deep darkness; and he added nothing more.
这些话是耶和华在山上，从火中，云中，幽暗中，大声晓谕你们全会众的。此外并没有添别的话。
And you came to the foot of the mount, which burned even unto heaven: and there was darkness, and a cloud and obscurity in it.
你们遂走上前来，站在山脚下，其时山上火焰冲天，且为黑暗和乌云笼罩着。
Darkness was coming early because of the cloud layer that still blanketed the sky.
