Security in the capital, protected by a network of closecircuit cameras and tens of thousands of police officers and private security guards, is not likely to deteriorate any time soon.
But successful software entrepreneurs are a small fraction of the population, and most likely no judges of the Federal Circuit have close relationships with one.
And so the case then came back to the Supreme Court this winter in the posture where the court was going to itself look at the merits and really take a close look at whether the circuit had done what the Supreme Court asked it to do the first time around.
