abstract:Clifford Brown MBE (born 22 July 1916, in Inverness; died 16 December 1993, in Kent) was a British television editor and director who became the second European Broadcasting Union (EBU) scrutineer for the Eurovision Song Contest.
He then rose to prominence when he joined Art Blakey's Jazz Messengers - replacing his idol CliffordBrown - and soon became one of the most in-demand trumpeters.
