abstract:The Clavinet is a type of electro-mechanical keyboard instrument built by the Hohner company of Trossingen, West Germany, from 1964 to the early 1980s. It is an electrically amplified clavichord (analogous to clavichord as an electric guitar is to an acoustic guitar).
