abstract:Chora is one of the woredas in the Oromia Region of Ethiopia. Part of the Illubabor Zone, Chora is bordered on the south by the Jimma Zone, on the west by Yayu, on the northwest by Supena Sodo, on the north by Dega, and on the east by Bedele.
Tucked away in the district of Fatih next to the exquisite Chora Church, the elegant courtyard restaurant Asitane offers a taste of Ottoman imperial cuisine.
The icon is the patron saint of all Kytherians and is on display in the monastery save for Easter, when there is a religious procession to transfer it to Chora.
