The optimum condition of the separation enrichment by column chromatography withactivated charcoal and sodium sulfite strip and extraction of tracegold with TMK-isoamylalcohol has been studied.
Additionally, some Tennessee Whiskies are filtered using the Lincoln County Process, whereby it is exposed to a column of charcoal chips before being transferred to barrels for aging.
